Managing pediatric airways presents unique challenges that require specialized knowledge and skill. This session will guide clinicians through the recognition of difficult pediatric airways and the anatomic and physiologic factors that influence airway management. Participants will learn how to choose induction and sedation medications tailored specifically for pediatric patients, while weighing the risks and benefits of common airway agents. The session will also address pain management strategies before, during, and after airway interventions, equipping providers with practical tools to improve safety and patient comfort.
