With over two decades of experience in emergency medical services (EMS), Danielle Goodrich currently serves as the Clinical Coordinator of the University of Vermont Health Network regional transport system. Her focus is on the development and implementation of evidence-based practice, the clinical growth of and quality of care provided by current staff, and creating innovative, interactive learning experiences. As an educator she excels in identifying individual strengths and connecting with multidisciplinary learners from emergency medical technicians to physicians, recognizing and empowering the value of everyone’s unique expertise and contribution in the medical field. She remains a lifelong learner, always eager to explore new approaches to understanding and improving her own clinical care so that she can continue shaping the future of EMS education.
With a career spanning field emergency care, critical care flight, leadership, and educational roles, she’s had continued opportunities to make meaningful impacts in the ever-evolving landscape of EMS. She has shared her expertise at multiple national conferences, taught internationally in Honduras, developed and stood up standardized systems of care, and serves as a subject matter expert for the International Board of Specialty Certifications. With one of her proudest professional accomplishments being part of the leadership team that established the first aeromedical base in Vermont, she showcased her dedication to innovation and excellence in critical care.
Danielle is dedicated to reshaping how expertise is viewed in the medical field. With a belief that each individual’s experience and knowledge play a crucial role in patient care, she works to break down traditional hierarchies and elevate all voices in the healthcare system. Drawing on her experience, she strives to foster a culture where collaboration, mutual respect, and collective expertise lead the way.
