Payton Conrad RN, BSN
Payton earned a Bachelor’s in Health Science from the University of Missouri, followed by a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from Central Methodist University’s program in Fayette, Missouri
For the past five years, Payton has served as a Registered Nurse at Children’s Nebraska in Omaha—a premier freestanding pediatric hospital with a longstanding reputation for excellence in neonatal and pediatric care.
In this capacity, she has contributed critical care expertise in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) and played a pivotal role in launching and supporting the hospital’s Neonatal Transport Team, a rapid-response unit dedicated to safely transporting the most vulnerable patients.
Currently, Payton is expanding her impact through a research fellowship at Children’s Nebraska. In this role, she is investigating gaps in neonatal healthcare delivery and developing actionable, evidence-based solutions to improve outcomes for newborns and their families.
