Jeremy Norman is a seasoned leader in prehospital and critical care transport with more than 25 years of experience in ground EMS and HEMS. He serves as Director of Clinical Research at Air Methods and Coordinator of the SIREN (Stress Intervention & Recovery Employee Network) Peer Support Program. In these dual roles, he drives national initiatives that advance evidence-based patient care while promoting mental health and resilience among frontline clinicians.
Jeremy’s research leadership focuses on airway management, trauma resuscitation, and quality improvement, guiding data-driven strategies that directly impact patient outcomes. As SIREN Coordinator, he has developed a geographically dispersed peer support network, integrating suicide prevention, wellness education, and confidential support into the organization’s culture.
His career includes leadership positions such as Clinical Director I and Regional Clinical Education Manager at Air Methods, and Assistant Chief of Clinical and Educational Services at South Georgia Medical Center. A respected educator, Jeremy has trained EMS teams nationwide, combining clinical expertise, operational efficiency, and advanced technology adoption.
He is a frequent speaker at national conferences, including the Air Medical Transport Conference, ECHO, and EMS World, presenting on trauma care, educator development, and training optimization. His work has been published in peer-reviewed journals, including studies on airway management and traumatic brain injury care in air medical transport.
Jeremy holds a Bachelor’s in Applied Science from Valdosta State University and an MBA in Healthcare Management from Columbia Southern University. He is certified as a Flight Paramedic (FP-C) and National Registry Paramedic (NRP), and remains committed to advancing prehospital care through research, education, innovation, and clinician well-being.
