Chris has nearly 18 years of flight experience on both rotor and fixed wing aircraft, along with 26 total years of EMS service. Having worked in both rural and tertiary healthcare settings, in his home state of Iowa as well as across the country as a member of the Med-Trans National Float Team, he is well-rounded and understands the related challenges unique to both critical care transport and rural medicine. Chris enjoys teaching the skills and concepts he has acquired through his experiences over the years and has seen success as a Clinical Coach for Med-Trans, mentoring many new employees. Chris believes that even while providing clinical care in stressful situations, the patient and family experience should remain paramount.
