Matthew is a Director of Education and Flight Nurse at Airlift Northwest, Prior he had been an ECMO Program Manager in the Cardiothoracic ICU at the University of Washington Medical Center. He achieved his Masters in Clinical Informatics & Quality at the UW. He acquired a passion for critical care at Johns Hopkins Hospital as a nurse, but this passion extends to all education as a way to sustainable improvement of quality patient outcomes. Additionally, he has a passion for international nursing education, having worked in and taught for nurses in Peru, India, Tanzania, Brazil and Nepal.
