William Bradley Weir, Paramedic, MD, FACEP, FAEMS, FAMPA

Dr. Brad Weir is a Professor of Emergency Medicine and EMS at the Medical College of Wisconsin and is the current Director of Medical Services for Flight For Life in Wisconsin. He began his career in EMS over 3 decades ago and worked as an EMT, Paramedic, and EMS Instructor during his undergraduate education at University of Illinois. He completed medical school at University of Illinois Chicago, and completed his Emergency Medicine residency through Indiana University in Indianapolis where he served as a flight physician. He served 8 years with the Army National Guard and 4 years with the Air National Guard. He has provided medical direction to air and ground critical EMS programs for the last 2 decades. He has served as a tactical EMS medical director for two SWAT teams and an Explosive Ordnance Disposal Team. In March 2025 he moved from IL, to took over as the Director of Medical Services for Flight For Life in WI. He has been involved in martial arts for over 40 years, and currently practices Muay Thai, no gi Brazilian jiu-jitsu, and MMA to balance his intake of cheese curds.
