Tim Rolfe

HeliOffshore

Closely associated with HeliOffshore since its 2014 inception, Tim assumed the role of CEO in 2020, shaping the organization’s mission and strategy to create an offshore industry sector aligned on key priorities, focused on enhancing frontline safety performance.

Prior to joining HeliOffshore full-time, Tim held several leadership positions in Operations, Training, Standards, and Safety throughout a 30-year career with Bristow Group, working directly with local and global teams across five continents. Graduating from ab initio helicopter flying training in 1990, he accumulated 8,500 flying hours in offshore, SAR, military support and VIP operations.

Tim has Bachelor degrees in Genetics & Biochemistry and in Psychology, and an MSc in Human Factors and Safety Assessment in Aeronautics. He is a former vice-chair and current Extended Board member of the European Helicopter Association, a visiting Fellow at Cranfield University, a Fellow of the Royal Aeronautical Society, and serves on the British Helicopter Association Council of Management and the Aviation Generation Advisory Board.
