r. Robert Donovan is an emergency physician and medical director with over three decades of leadership in emergency medical services (EMS) and air medical transport. As Medical Director of PHI Air Ambulance in California, he oversees policy development and medical control for a critical air ambulance program, ensuring high standards of patient care.. Based in Modesto, California, Dr. Donovan also serves as Medical Director for the Modesto Fire Department, Stanislaus Consolidated Fire District, AMR Ambulance in Stanislaus County, Valley Regional Emergency Communications Center, and works full time att Doctors Medical Center, a Level II Trauma Center & Comprehensive Stroke Center with over 90,000 annual visits.
