Cassandra has dedicated over twelve years to emergency medical services and has been a nationally registered paramedic since 2016 and became critical care certified in 2017. She earned her bachelor’s degree in cell & molecular biology from Saint Francis University in 2020. In 2021, she transitioned into air medical transport and is currently a certified flight paramedic with AHN LifeFlight in Pittsburgh, PA.
Passionate about advancing prehospital care, she co-founded LifeFlight’s Community Outreach Education Program and serves as co-chair of the Critical Care Transport Education Committee and the LifeFlight Unit-Based Practice Council. She is a member of the Allegheny General Hospital Emergency Medicine Research Council. She is active in clinical research and has authored multiple peer reviewed publications.
Beyond her work at LifeFlight, Cassandra is also an educator with FOAMfrat. With a deep commitment to nuanced education and evidence-based practice, she strives to elevate emergency and critical care transport medicine through research, innovation, and mentorship.
