Brandon "Brady" Carpenter is a dedicated aviation safety professional with over 9 years of experience in Part 135 Helicopter Air Ambulance (HAA) operations.
Brady received flight training as well as his Aviation Management degree from Louisiana Tech University. Brady began his career in HAA as an Operations Control Specialist at Metro Aviation before transitioning to their Safety Department as Metro's first Flight Operations Quality Assurance (FOQA) Analyst. In that role, Brady worked with hundreds of thousands of flights' worth of raw data, turning them into actionable safety intelligence. His expertise includes performing deep-dive analyses, developing predictive methodologies (such as modeling bird strike risk), and writing custom code to identify and analyze undesirable aircraft states.
Brady currently serves as Director of Safety and as an Air Safety Investigator at Metro Aviation. Brady manages their Safety Management System (SMS), leading a highly skilled team of safety professionals.
