Shauna Hadgraft is an experienced registered nurse with 13 years of clinical expertise, including 5 years in the Emergency Department and 7 years with Carolina Air Care. Throughout her career, Shauna has demonstrated a passion for education, leadership, and supporting her colleagues. She is the founder of the Resiliency Committee and Peer Support Team at Carolina Air Care, initiatives that foster mental and emotional well-being for healthcare professionals.
As a primary preceptor, Shauna has dedicated herself to mentoring new staff and fostering an environment of continuous learning. She also served as a Field Training Officer (FTO) for her base for two years before transitioning to the role of Ground Base Supervisor, where she remained actively involved in the education department.
Shauna has further enhanced her leadership skills through her participation in the AAMS Leadership Incident Fortification Training Institute. Recently, she took on the challenging role of Air Operations Manager for Carolina Air Care, where she continues to contribute her expertise to air medical operations and team development.
